Solum

The mandate

A quiet, careful path from ancestral land to a finished asset

We take on the responsibility so families do not have to: the paperwork, the checks, the eligibility, the banking, and the build. Here is exactly how a parcel moves through Solum.

01

It begins with trust, formalised.

Representation and mandate

Many of the families we work with left their land behind long ago. We meet them where they are, in London, Frankfurt, Toronto and the Gulf, understand their intentions, and accept a formal mandate to act. Where appropriate, that includes a notarised power of attorney authorising Solum to represent the parcel through to completion.

  • Owner interviews and intention-setting
  • Notarised power-of-attorney mandate where required
  • Exclusive, time-bound representation

02

Nothing is listed until it is proven.

Verification and due diligence

We reconcile registry title with customary records, walk and peg boundaries, and confirm water, access and inheritance rights. Concerns are documented rather than hidden. Every parcel carries an honest 'good to know' and a candid list of considerations before a single buyer sees it.

  • Title and provenance reconciliation
  • Boundary survey and rights confirmation
  • Documented red flags and mitigations

03

The right buyer, not the first.

Presentation and introduction

We prepare a considered dossier of imagery, film, survey and diligence notes, and introduce the parcel only to qualified, eligible buyers. Where local law restricts ownership, as it does in Afghanistan, we structure participation correctly from the outset so there are no surprises at settlement.

  • Curated dossier and private viewings
  • Eligibility and jurisdiction structured up front
  • Qualified, discreet introductions only

04

Funds and title move safely, on record.

Facilitation and settlement

We coordinate escrow, banking and transfer end to end. In Afghanistan, settlement can be cleared through the vendor family's own bank, giving both sides a regulated, traceable path for funds. Title transfers, records update, and the acquisition completes.

  • Escrow and regulated banking channels
  • Settlement via the vendor family's bank where available
  • Title transfer and registry update

05

If you wish to build, we stay in the room.

Development and delivery

For owners who want to build, Solum introduces a developer we have vetted for track record and financial standing, structures the development agreement to protect your capital, and oversees the programme from approvals and procurement through construction to handover. One accountable relationship, from the parcel to the keys.

  • Vetted developer, architect and contractor
  • Protective development agreement and governance
  • Delivery oversight through to handover
